Start of Something New (September 3, 2011)

Our Junior and Adult students were joined on stage by present and past HATS students in an evening of variety and emotion as we said goodbye to special friends who are off to pursue their professional training, welcomed back ex-students currently training at colleges across the country, and looked to the future and the potential of our current students. An amazing evening at Holmfirth High School!

High School Musical (July 23, 2011)

Summer 2011 saw Heavy Arts produce the smash hit Disney musical, High School Musical at The Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield. A great show and a fantastic cast of talented young performers played to sell out audiences in what was surely our most successful production to date.

The Wedding Singer (February 19, 2011)

Heavy Arts Theatre School's Spring 2011 production of 'The Wedding Singer' at Lawrence Batley Theatre was a massive success with a fantastically talented cast, sell out performances, a beautiful set by Dartura and great lighting and sound production from FTAV. SANTAS BABIES and STILL GOT IT (December 21, 2010)

Heavy Arts Junior and Adult Companies take to the stage at Holmfirth High School this Christmas with this fantastic evening of musical theatre entertainment. From Oliver and Billy Elliot to Chicago and Sweet Charity this spectacular production features both the up and coming fresh young talent of Heavy Arts Juniors along with our Adult Company who prove they really have STILL GOT IT! Summer Showcase 2010 (July 7, 2010)

Heavy Arts Theatre School performed on the 7th and 8th July 2010 at Colne Valley High School Theatre. This spectacular showcase of fantastic musical theatre song and dance featured numbers from smash hits musicals such as High School Musical, Grease, Hairspray, Rent, Les Miserables, Glee, Cabaret, The Lion King.... plus many more.

THE WIZ (February 21, 2010)

In February 2010 Heavy Arts Theatre School, Huddersfield, produced and performed their fourth full length musical spectacular at The Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield. This time it was the turn of 'The Wiz' to get the HATS treatment. Originally made famous by the film version starring Michaal Jackson and Diana Ross this modern and 'funky' musical depicts the classic story of Dorothy's journey along the yellow brick road, and was received with the highest acclaim from our fantastic public audience!

Elland Road Fashion Show (October 4, 2009)

Heavy Arts will be representing Debenhams at the Elland Road Wedding Exhibition on the 4th October 2009. Footloose, The Musical (June 21, 2009)

June 21st & 22nd this year saw our second production of 2009. This time it was the smash hit musical, Footloose, that got the Heavy Arts treatment....and what a fantastic production it was. Packed full with energy and dynamic. The cast did a superb job and the audience loved it!

A Chorus Line (February 21, 2009)

Heavy Arts returned once more to The Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield on the 21st and 22nd February 2009, with their outstanding production of the smash hit Broadway musical, 'A Chorus Line'. This classic show challenged both cast and creatives and showed off the versatility of all at Heavy Arts.

Fame, The Musical (June 14, 2008)

In June 2008 Heavy Arts performed for two nights at The Lawrence Batley Theatre with their sell out production of Fame, The Musical. The show follows the story of a group of students studying at the famous New York School of Performing Arts.

Sex & The Fashion Fashion Event (May 27, 2008)

To promote Debenhams as the official retail partner for the launch of the Sex & The City movie, Heavy Arts was approached to organise and produce a fashion show to display how customers at Debenhams could 'get the look' of the four principal characters.

West Side Story (July 28, 2007)

July 2007 saw the first ever public performance by Heavy Arts as they took to the stage at The Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, with their first full length production of the classic musical West Side Story.
