Adult Company (August 29, 2010)

As well as having Heavy Arts Youth Company! Heavy Arts has introduced a new Junior School, which takes to the stage this Christmas!! But it's now official that we have our new independant Adult Company. Summer School 2010 (July 14, 2010)

Heavy Arts Theatre School will be holding their annual Summer Intensive from 2nd - 6th August 2010 at Moldgreen Community Primary School, Huddersfield. This fun filled week will see students take part in a range of dance, drama and singing workshops and classes, as well as creative theatre craft sessions including costume, props, and set design. The summer school runs for 10.00am - 4.00pm daily, with a final performance at the end of the week where students get the chance to share the new skills they have learnt during the week. Wedding Singer Auditions (June 27, 2010)

Heavy Arts have successfully secured the rights for our next production - The Wedding Singer. In February 2011 we will be returning to The Lawrence Batley Theatre for two nights with this upbeat, high energy musical sensation. We will shortly be holding auditions for this new production and welcome any young performers aged between 11-18 years to audition. We are specifically looking for strong female dancers and male actors/singers to be involved. Anyone interested in being part of this fantastic production please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Heavy Arts Juniors (March 21, 2010)

Heavy Arts Theatre School are launching a new 'junior' school for students aged 5-8 years on Sundays from 9.30am to 11.00am at Moldgreen Community Primary School. Please contact us for more info regarding fees and booking your place.

Private lessons (September 1, 2009)

Heavy Arts are introducing the option of private lessons where students can get one on one private tutition in various styles and techniques including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Drama and Singing. Classes will be one hour in duration and will work on a range of skills to increase the individuals understanding and application of the specific technique. Anyone interested in booking private tutition should contact the office for information on cost and times.
